WSBK: MV Agusta is back!

MV Agusta has signed a three year contract with ParkinGo team to use their MV Agusta F3 675 in the 2013 Supersport World Championship.

It comes on the same day as the late Claudio Castiglioni would have been 65 years old.

MV Agusta President, Giovanni Castiglioni said "It gives me great satisfaction to announce this agreement with Team ParkinGO. Personally speaking, for me it is a big and exciting challenge as I have inherited from my father the passion for racing. I am convinced that with the experience of engineer Massimo Bordi, who is involved in this project as well, we have all the right components needed to get important results."

ParkinGo Presdient, Giuliano Rovellie said "This morning my brother Paolo and I were talking about the big responsibility and at the same time the great satisfaction we feel in signing such an important agreement. Already from the first meetings there has been a good understanding with the management of the company. Our common aims in the project are important components to get the best out of this partnership"

Valentino Rossi will attend Simoncelli Supermoto Day

Valentino Rossi will attend "Sic Supermoto Day 2012", an event organised in memory of Marco Simoncelli. All proceeeds will go to the "Marco Simoncelli Foundation".

Frenchman Thierry Van Den Bosch who is a four-time Supermoto champion will ride alongside Rossi. 30 teams will be taking part consisting of a Supermotard rider, a rider from MotogGP, SBK, Motorcross or similar. Each rider will alternate through a 58 lap race.

Other confirmed MotoGP riders are Andrea Dovizioso, Andrea Lannone, Danilo Petrucci, Karel Abraham and not forgetting Max Biaggi.
